Shenée M. Craig earned her Juris Doctor degree with a certificate in Criminal Justice from the University of Florida. During law school, she interned for a Child Support Magistrate in the Fifth Judicial Circuit, the Post-Conviction Relief Unit in the Eighth Judicial Circuit, and the Public Defender's Office in the Eighth Judicial Circuit. Additionally, during law school, she worked assisting a civil attorney with cases that involved landlord/tenant law, family law, and estate planning.

Following law school, Shenée began her law career as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orange, County, Florida, where she handled felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. After her work as a Public Defender, she moved on to handle civil cases.

Shenée was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and is of Jamaican descent. She earned her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Economics from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL.
